THE RUN DUNGOG ULTRA - 50KM
Saturday 3rd August - 50kms - The Ultra
2019 will be our first 50km ultra run. This event is taking place on a mixture of the Dungog Common, Council Reserve and Private Property. This course is only accessible during Run Dungog. The course will run to the summit of Mt Richardson, which has 360 degree views from the coast to the Barrington Tops. This will be an exciting, challenging and unique course. Please note the final course map and elevations will be provided to runners in July.

CUT OFF: 9 hours (5:30pm)
This is an event for a runners who are keen for a long and unique challenge. The 50km trail commences in the Dungog Common and makes its way on dirt roads, council reserves and private farm tracks to the summit of Mt Richardson, before returning to the Dungog Common. It is an incredibly scenic run, on trail that is only accessible during Run Dungog. There will be three aid stations, although it is recommended you carry a hydration pack and some nutrition. The trail will be clearly marked.
For your safety, we do suggest you carry a bit of gear, in case of sprained ankle and just because of the amount of time you are on the trails - hydration pack, light waterproof jacket, hat, suncream, mobile phone, whistle, survival blanket (keep warm in case of sprained ankle), nutrition, water.
