Saturday 3rd August - 50kms - The Ultra

2019 will be the first time we have hosted the 50km ultra run. This event is run on a mixture of country-road, farm track and bush trails - therefore it is a combination of road running and trail running. The race will start on the banks of the Williams River, on the edge of Dungog and follow the Fosterton Road (tarmac) out towards Moylans Road where it will head up in to State Forest, with incredible bush tracks, before re-joining Fosterton Road and returning to Dungog. There are a few tough sections in the course (steep uphills) or uneven track, but overall this is a decent challenge in an amazing setting. Please note the final course map and elevations will be provided in May. The below is the most likely course, but since the course will run through State Forest there is a small chance that the trail might change slightly.
