Run Dungog is a community running weekend, which caters for runners, joggers and walkers of all ages and abilities. Proceeds from the event are being distributed to the the Dungog Shire Community Centre, to provide mental health support in the Shire.

50km Trail
Saturday 3rd August - 8:30am

A once-a-year running event. 50kms from the Dungog Common to the summit of Mt Richardson and back through private farms and along dirt tracks. It is stunning, unique and capped to 100 runners.

25km Trail - Mt Richardson
Saturday 3rd August - 8:30am

This is a shorter version of the 50km course. It is an up and back trail through private farm land and along dirt tracks. A stunning and unique event and capped to 100 runners.

Dungog Common 5km, 10km & 20km
Sunday 4th August - 9am

On Sunday 4th August we host three trail running events on the trails within the Dungog Common. A 5km, 10km and 20km event. This is a fantastic trail running experience for the whole family. Kids under 12 run free.

 
 

COMMUNITY

Run Dungog is a non-profit community event raising funds for the Dungog Shire Community Centre. Proceeds from the weekend are being allocated to mental health programming through the Dungog Shire Community Centre. Please note all Run Dungog “staff” are volunteers.

SUNDAY 4TH AUGUST - DUNGOG COMMON

Dungog is in the Hunter Region of NSW and is renowned for its forests, mountains and picturesque river village.

What about the kids?

If you would like to run the Saturday events but are not sure what to do with the kids then sign them up for the Wangat and Wildcraft Australia outdoor adventure day in the Dungog Common. The kids will be supervised for the duration of Saturday’s events with bushwalking, busk skills, a bush picnic and bush crafts. Hosted in the Dungog Common they will have the chance to watch the start of the run and be at the Dungog Common on your return.

Sunday events will be hosted at the Dungog Common and all kids under 12 run free, so enjoy a family running day - sign up for the 5km with the kids and enjoy the stunning trails of the Dungog Common.
