Run Dungog is a community running weekend, which caters for runners, joggers and walkers of all ages and abilities to raise funds to implement youth mental health programming in the Dungog Shire.

50km Road & Trail
Saturday 3rd August - 8:30am

A stunning 50km course on road, farm track and bush trails. Taking place on the Saturday, the 50km is a unique opportunity to get off the beaten track and experience the incredible beauty of the Dungog region.

21km Road - Fosterton Loop
Saturday 3rd August - 8:30am

Starting on the edge of Dungog you head for Fosterton Road, running the country road loop over a 21km distance before returning to Dungog. This is one of the most scenic road running courses in the region.

Dungog Common 5km, 10km & 20km
Sunday 4th August - 9am

On Sunday 4th August we host three trail running events on the trails within the Dungog Common. A 5km, 10km and 20km event. This is a fantastic trail running experience for the whole family. Kids under 12 run free.

 
 

RUN FOR MENTAL HEALTH

Run Dungog is a non-profit community event raising funds for the Dungog Shire Community Centre to implement youth mental health programming in the Dungog Shire.

SATURDAY 3RD AUGUST - DUNGOG

  • 50km Road & Trail Ultra - 8:30am Start - 8:15am Briefing - Registration open from 7:30am

  • 21km Road Run - 8:30am Start - 8:15am Briefing - Registration open from 7:30am

SUNDAY 4TH AUGUST - DUNGOG COMMON

  • 5km Trail Run - 10am

  • 10km Trail Run - 9:30am

Dungog

Dungog is in the Hunter Region of NSW and is renowned for its forests, mountains and picturesque river village.

What about the kids?

If you would like to run the Saturday events but are not sure what to do with the kids then sign the kids up for the Wangat Lodge outdoor adventure day. The kids will explore the beautiful rainforest, rivers and creeks of Wangat and learn about the natural environment and bush crafts. Kids will be collected from the race start at 8:15am and returned to Dungog by 4pm.

Sunday events will be hosted at the Dungog Common and all kids under 12 run free, so enjoy a family running day - sign up for the 5km with the kids and enjoy the stunning trails of Dungog.
